Kleeb Supporter Bikes Across Nebraska
2006-06-08

What do you need to ride in the Bike Ride Across Nebraska (BRAN)? Most participants brought their bicycles, two bags of supplies and a helmet. However, Don Beach sported some additional gear in his trek from Broken Bow to Omaha, a Kleeb for Congress shirt and bike license plate.

Beginning on Sunday, June 4, Don slipped-on his custom-printed Kleeb for Congress t-shirt and polished-off his campaign license plate. With one year of BRAN experience under his belt, his finish at the 2006 BRAN is a sure bet.

When asked why he wore the t-shirt and mounted the license plate on his bike, Don simply said, “I’m not a real politician. I just don’t like what’s going on, and we need a change. Things aren’t going in the right direction.” And unlike some politicians, Don walked the walk, or as you may say, biked the bike to spread the Kleeb for Congress message.

Don will complete his 495-mile travel this Saturday, June 10. Those wishing to catch this biking Kleeb for Congress supporter can travel to one of the remaining host cities that the cyclists will ride through. The four remaining stopping points along the course of the bike trail include Geneva, Tecumseh, Springfield and Omaha.
